A unique vegetable garden designed by PM Training was awarded silver at Tatton Flower Show.
itled The Forgotten Corner, the design cleverly used raised beds to grow fresh vegetables, making use of that awkward corner often found behind sheds or garages.
Designer Carl Gerrard said: “The garden consists of a number of raised beds that fan out from the shed in corner.
“The inspiration comes from a partnership project with the Salvation Army to create a community allotment site and the enthusiasm that the project has created for home-grown food and a healthy lifestyle.”
And the success continued at Shrewsbury Flower Show where PM Training constructed a floral train for infant schools to display their geraniums.
This drew a lot of attention and great feedback from visitors, parents and show organisers.
The gold medal winning 4m X 4m garden promoted education, and was jointly designed with Ludlow School.
