If you are a levy-paying employer, you can use the apprenticeship service to receive levy funds to spend on recruiting a 16-18 apprentice and training existing staff through upskilling. You can manage your apprentice, pay your training provider and stop or pause payment if required.

If you do not pay the levy, you won’t be able to use the apprenticeship service to pay for apprenticeship training and assessment until at least mid-2019, unless you are receiving a transfer of funds from a levy paying employer.
