We strongly believe in delivering on our corporate promises to maximise opportunities for young people and businesses in Staffordshire, assisting where we can to find apprenticeships, work experience or training. Being a social enterprise means our services concentrate on maximising the social, economic and environmental impact we can have in the local area. Here are some of the reasons why we invest so much back into our local communities.

Social value impact across Staffordshire

Tackling youth unemployment

Through creating over 250 young apprentices each year and helping 16-19 year olds gain new skills and get work-ready, our study programmes help towards reducing the number of young people who are NEET (not in Education, Employment or Training) in the local area.

Social return on investment

For every £1 invested through our Homeworks services and apprenticeship programmes, our social return on investment is £4.80

Keeping your pound local

Our knowledge of the local business economy empowers us to introduce your company to new contract opportunities, helping to keep your pound local and boost the impact of your supply chain.

Social value champions

As social value champions in Staffordshire, we provide support for future tendering opportunities inline with the Social Value Act

Improving staff development

Through accredited programmes including adult apprenticeships and bespoke courses we support you to upskill and train your existing staff to improve productivity, quality and business efficiency.

Information, advice and guidance

Our community engagement activities such as supplier days, job fairs and apprentice workshops, bring local businesses together to boost social value, contract opportunities and provide a unique platform for business networking

Supply chain growth

Through detailed reporting, we can demonstrate the numbers that matter to grow supply chain partnerships, reduce youth unemployment, improve efficiencies and help grow businesses across Staffordshire.
