The Regeneration Tree of Blurton #MadeByArtworks  

This 8ft steel structure stands at the heart of a community hub in Blurton, Stoke-on-Trent.

The metalwork sculpture is surrounded by ceramic tiles designed by local school children and represents key themes from the area including housing, regeneration, pottery, mining, and horticulture.


1 apprentice, Jonah Davies from Blurton, had a hand in using his skills to help produce the local Regeneration Tree.


2 Teenagers, Nicholas Mason and Courtney Orpe from the Sir Stanley Matthews Academy designed the tree sculpture.


This local sculpture stands at 8ft tall and represents the growth of the area and was created using materials such as steel from local industries.
