The Metalwork Trout #MadeByArtworks

Designed as part of Britain in Bloom, this colossal fish towers over a roundabout on Newcastle-under-Lyme’s town ring road and is an eye-catching sight for locals and tourists alike.

The first of a series based on indigenous species created for Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council, the piece compliments the return of the brown trout species in the Lyme brook in 2017.

This fish is quite a catch at well over 4 metres long and more than
three 3 high.

The whole structure including waves and mount was fabricated in under 10 weeks.

This sculpture was sketched and designed by 1 renowned, local Artist Andy Edwards.
