An apprenticeship in accountancy is an ideal starting point for anyone wishing to pursue a career in accountancy or finance.

AAT qualifications are at the heart of accountancy apprenticeships which ensures you’ll be recognised by employers as a holder of practical and technical qualifications that prepare you for working in accountancy and finance roles.

On the apprenticeship, you will work towards an AAT qualification that will lay down a foundation of knowledge needed to thrive in an accounting role.

You will also get the chance to put these skills into practice with at least 12 months of workplace experience in the industry, taking on tasks such as basic costing, controlling accounts and journals, and gaining an insight into the banking system.

The Level 3 apprenticeship provides more complex accounting disciplines including financial processes, Advanced bookkeeping, final accounts and ethical practices for accountants.
