What is an apprenticeship?
Apprenticeships combine on-the-job training with classroom learning, providing essential work experience.
They provide you with the essential skills you need for your chosen career and will enable you to stand out during recruitment. You earn whilst you learn so you can start your career straight away.
PM Training is the place to go for apprenticeships. We will help and support you through every stage of your journey. From the moment that you apply to when you become fully qualified in your chosen career.
Our unique pre-apprenticeship programme means that you can try different trades and roles before moving onto an apprenticeship. We’ll help you with CV writing, upskilling, timekeeping, and the key skills needed for the workplace.
How much can you earn?
All apprenticeships help forge a long-term career path and the possibility for higher earnings. Pay is dependent on the industry, location and type of apprenticeship – for example, some courses can pay as much as £900 per month.
Many employers choose to pay substantially more than the apprenticeship minimum wage, which is £3.70 per hour for those aged 16 to 18 (rising to £3.90 per hour from April 2019). The same applies if you’re 19 and over and in the first year of your course – after that, you are entitled to the National Minimum Wage
