Job Role:

Working week:

  • 40 hours
  • Tuesday – Saturday 8am – 5pm

What is Maintenance Operation?

This is the care and minor maintenance of equipment using procedures that do not require detailed technical knowledge of the equipment’s or system’s function and design.

Applying English & Maths to this role:

You will be expected to write up reports of the work they have completed, request materials and equipment. Job reports will also be issued which need to be investigated and followed up on.

Many jobs will require the ability to measure accurately, assess and calculate material sizes and quantities.

Skills Required: 

  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic for a variety of tasks.
  • IT Literate.
  • The role will involve researching materials and techniques, plus the inputting of reports into a database system.

Personal Attributes Required: 

  • Punctual, but flexible to working hours.
  • A positive attitude towards working.

Qualifications Required:

5 GCSE’s 9-4 (A-C) or grades as equivalent

Qualifications Gained: 

Maintenance Operations Apprenticeship Level 2
