This role is great for someone looking at getting into a real factory-based environment where the days go fast and there is lots to do!
You will be working as part of a team of 2 with this role, safely operating machinery.You will also be ensuring your team will run smoothly and efficiently and maximising production, minimising set up times and production waste. With this role you will be able to troubleshoot common die cut issues as well as record standard quality checks. You will be responsible for the basic maintenance and cleaning of the machines and the surrounding areas.
8.00am till 4.30pm (Monday to Thursday)
8.00am till 3.30pm (Friday)

Cardway Cartons are based in Alsager, Cheshire. They have been established for over 40 years and they employ nearly 50 members of staff. Cardway Cartons specialise in developing and producing corrugated packaging in and around Staffordshire.
What is an Apprentice Factory Machine Operative:
This type of role will be similar to that of a production operative. You will be expected to manage machinery including maintaining a safe, working environment. This role usually requires working within a team and supporting one another to hit deadlines, targets and minimising production waste.
