Job Role:

You will be a trainee window and door fitter, starting by moving materials and helping qualified fitters on site in various locations. You will also be expected to engage in customer interaction and maintain the high standards of the company.

What is Fenestration?

Fenestration means window fitting. As a window fitter, you are getting into a trade which is very valued in the industry. You will be trained in the installation and repair of windows, conservatories, cladding, porches and more. You will pick up important information around the health and safety within the fenestration industry and learn about drawing plans and working closely within a team.
The knowledge you pick up from this industry can take you to different careers and also take your skills through to your own potential business. Fenestration can be a very well paid profession.

Central Glass & Windows are a commercial glass and window company which are based locally in Hanley.

Personal Attributes:

  • You will need to be an excellent communicator

Applying English & Maths To This Role: 

You will need to calculate the measurements of glass and also fill out site survey forms.

Qualifications Required: 

GCSE Maths and English 9-4 (A*- C) or Functional Skills as equivalent

Salary information
