Customer Care Advisors have a special role to look after customers and all their needs. The job is rewarding and you are expected to shine and represent your company to the best of your ability.

Job Role: 

Your job role will require working in a very fast paced department which supports all other branches within the midmarket division of Banner for Stoke/Loughborough/Swindon/Bradford. Banner have great opportunities available to the right candidate!

  • Liaising with customer on a day to day basis
  • Liaising with all other areas and departments within the business
  • Dealing with all service issues like collections, shortages and picking errors
  • Taking and making calls to customers.
  • Working to strict SLA’s.
  • Learn and develop as you go
  • Learn how all the functions of the company work together

What is Customer Service/Care?

Customer Service Assistants/Advisors have an important job representing a company first hand, they have to be well presented and approachable. Being part of Customer Service, you could be in a shop serving customers or even behind closed doors answering important phone calls. People will often come to you for help so you need to make sure you are confident, polite and have an interest in what you are talking about. You will usually be part of a team and expected to report to a manager.  You will have a very important job and there is lots of room for progression!

About Your Employer:

Applying English & Maths To This Role: 

You will require English and Maths skills for customer enquiries and orders.

Qualifications Required:

GCSE Maths and English A*- C (9-4) or Functional skills as equivalent

Qualifications Gained:

Customer Service Standard Level 2

Future Prospects: 

A Business Administration role averages at £15,000 per year*.  You can take this role through to a variety of departments including Sales and Account Management in your career.

Salary information

Please note the salary for this role is the Apprentice National Minimum Wage which is £3.70 per hour / £148 per week for all ages of applicants.
