Key Duties:

Involved with all aspects of our manufacturing processes

– Reading & understanding simple engineering drawings
– Laminating of metals and composites
– Cutting – composite sheets
– Drilling – composites
– Pressing – composite sheets
– Punching and Pressing – Metal Dampers
– Guillotining – Metal damping sheets
– Quality and Visual Inspection
– Part Printing
– Packing and Shipping
– Implementing, maintaining and improving the company’s high levels of quality and customer satisfaction.
– Basic equipment and plan maintenance
– Ensuring the facility is a clean, safe place to work

Skills required for this apprenticeship;

– Organised with keen eye for detail
– Good communication skills
– Works well both in a team, and also on their own
– Ability to undertake a variety of responsibilities
– Ability to remain effective and calm under pressure
– Enthusiastic, self-motivated and flexible

Qualifications required for this apprenticeship;

GCSE Maths and English A*- C or Functional Skills or equivalent are preferred

Hours of work;

Hours: Monday – Friday – up to 40 hours per week

Currently manufacturing work 7am-3pm. Hours can be changed to fit travel arrangements, but no fewer than 2 people can be in the works at any one time.
